Paulina Siwicka

Visual Communications Designer

I believe a user-centered approach applies to everything designed for people—whether it’s a kettle, a web application, or a legal process. This is why design thinking and empathy are essential in solving justice problems.

Paulina combines her expertise in anthropology and media technology with her passion for graphic design to communicate complex justice concepts at HiiL. With a bachelor’s in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Warsaw and a master’s in Media Technology from Leiden University, Paulina applies her knowledge of human behaviour to create user-friendly designs and data visualisations. She also guards and expands the HiiL brand.

Her interests include design thinking, information design, digital anthropology, neurodiversity, women’s rights, and mountain hiking.
