What kind of future do you envision for justice? What part do justice startups play in this vision? If these questions catch your interest, then join us on 15 February 2023 when 12 ventures will present their justice startups.
This year’s Demo Day is about “investing in a new vision of justice startups.” We invite you to be part of a new vision of justice, as we integrate data-driven solutions, technology and social entrepreneurship to close the justice gap. Whether you’re looking for your next investment deal to meet impactful entrepreneurs or getting inspired by startups changing the justice ecosystem as we know it, this is the space for you.
Throughout the event, 12 startups from HiiL’s Justice Accelerator 2022 cohort will pitch their startups to a jury panel of 3 judges. The judges will assess each startup on specific criteria to select the top three winners of the Innovating Justice Award. The winners will receive €20,000, €10,000 & €5,000, respectively. This year’s startups come from Tunisia, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, and Lebanon.
To bring the topics of investments, technology, and justice startups into perspective, we will also host conversations with thought-leaders and experts in both the entrepreneurial and justice spaces. At the Demo Day event, you will also have the opportunity to learn about our other programmes, ideation, incubation, scaling as well as the Innovating Justice Fund.
