Ewa van den Berg joined the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL) in October 2020 as Senior HR Advisor. After years of managing (international) HR projects for organizations like KPN, OMA & Oxfam Novib, she is now committed to further professionalize HiiL in her field of expertise and help scale up its organization.

Ewa is a seasoned all-round HR professional who was made responsible for many different HR projects and themes. A couple of milestones that are worth mentioning is her Coordinator role for Learning & Organizational Development where she delivered a successful training and leadership program for 18 country offices worldwide with her team. And her major policy role in the Integrity Management project group of Oxfam Novib in 2016-2018, developing new complaints mechanisms, international speak-up hotlines, response plans and prevention IM plans.

Ewa lives with her family in The Hague, she loves to spend time on art painting, cooking Indian food and dining with friends.
